This one is a little outside our neighborhood, but for any of you who are Herman Wouk fans we highly recommend you check out the inaugural Library of Congress Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Writing of Fiction. The award is being conferred upon Herman Wouk this evening at the LOC’s Jefferson Building (1st & Independence, SE) tonight at 5 pm.
Wouk will be in attendance, as will special guests including Jimmy Buffet. The Caine Mutiny is one of our favorite books, a true masterpiece, as such we expect this will be a fantastic event.
