Although open for a few weeks now, a new wine, beer, and liquor store caught our attention as newly opened to the public. Imperial Wine & Spirits on 12th Street between F and G Streets is now open offering a selection of wine, beer, liquor, and sodas to the public. We dropped by over the weekend to check out the store and it carries the basics in all three alcohol categories. The staff was friendly to us and Imperial becomes another walkable option for Penn Quarter and downtown DC residents and workers alike seeking to stock their bar. There’s no online presence to speak of at this time so you have to visit or use the good old fashioned telephone to reach them.

Monday to Thursday – 10 am to 8 pm
Friday – 10 am to 9 pm
Saturday and Sunday – 12 Noon to 6 pm
