I attended this event today about smart growth, and it was well worth the time. They talked, in particular, about the incredible development around the PQ/Chinatown/Gallery Place areas and how it has helped the region grow “smartly” over the last 10 years.
I also participated in a neighbourhood walking tour around the PQ nieghbourhood with the Director of Economic Development at the Downtown BID and the Director of Transportation at the Downtown BID leading.
The National Building Museum hosts some incredible events, and I plan on attending more of them in the future.
Yeah how did it go? I would have loved to be there! Did they provide any visuals?

Yes, they provided some visuals alright. Some in the form of graphs and statistical information, and some photographs of the GP/PQ neighbourhood. They even went so far as to use some of my own photographic work of the area in the presentation……
