Newseum Apartments
While we’re on the topic of the Newseum we’d also like to point you to their very cool Front Pages web site which daily displays the front pages of 400 plus newspapers from around the world. You’d learn that even Anna Nicole Smith made the front page of this weekend’s Gulf News (Dubai, United Arab Emirates).

A non-fast food court! I hope it is not like Wolfgang Puck in Pentagon Row or the one in the Convention Center. New menu for Newseum? Did anyone ever go to the old/newseum? What was that museum like?
The old Newseum was a lot of fun. It was free and had a solid permanent collection with a number of interactive exhibits. There were also a number of impressive temporary exhibits and good programming with topical speakers and some films. The front pages from around the country and around the world listed in the post were updated and on display each day.
I’ve missed the Newseum and am looking forward to its reopening.
Ditto on missing the Newseum. It is an interesting and relevant museum in our media-centric society.
I thought it was really neat how the old Newseum even had copies of my small hometown’s newspaper. It provided me with some soothing nostalgia far afield from the chaos of DC. I’ll bet the new one will also be a great attraction.
the new newseum will have an admission fee. i think its around 7 bucks. it looks to be worth the price though. and its in a prime location.
