We’re enjoying the window displays in the 900 block of F St NW and we thought we’d share.

Summer Sips: Art & Soul
The warm weather (and humidity) are lingering around, so we’ve been packing in as much al fresco dining and drinking as possible. This weekend, we enjoyed a refreshing and innovative cocktail at Art & Soul (415 New Jersey Ave., NW). The Pineapple Express features pineapple infused Cachaca, Don Ciccio & Figli Fennel liqueur, cucumber and black pepper.
DBGB Kitchen & Bar To Open Sept 13 In CityCenter DC
DBGB Kitchen & Bar (931 H St NW) will be the first restaurant to open in the CityCenter development in downtown DC and per an announcement on their front door they are set to open on Saturday, September 13th for service to the public. Yesterday evening diners could be seen taking in what appeared to be mock service and we are familiar with a number of private preview events taking place this week.
This is Chef Daniel Boulud’s first DC outpost and although menus have not been posted yet, we can expect the venue to follow a casual French-American bistro outline as described on the restaurant’s website to include popular dishes from the NYC menu. Craft beer on tap, a 150 bottle wine list, and craft cocktails provide the liquid sustenance.
Once open, we’ll be by to try it out! (We’re especially looking forward to the house-made sausages.)
