Starbucks At 7th And Indiana NW (325 7th Street NW) Closed Until Late March
Many Penn Quarter neighborhood residents still mourn the loss of our Starbucks at 7th & E Streets NW. When it closed its doors on February 7, PQ Living wanted to know “Why? And for how long?”
We turned to a Starbucks spokesperson, who assured us that Store #100, the Liberty Place location just down the road at 325 7th St NW, is “undergoing a major renovation to ensure Starbucks is meeting the needs of its Penn Quarter customers.” Good news for coffee and egg bite lovers!

What is your vision for the future of Gallery Place-Chinatown? Tell the Downtown DC Business Improvement District (BID) in a 10-question survey. But hurry. The survey closes February 28, 2022. As of the evening of February 23 only 344 people have taken the survey and more responses are needed to truly represent resident input. The link is shown below:

Some of the ten questions ask:

- Do you feel safe in the neighborhood?
- What activities would you like to see more of? (there is also space to write in “Other”)
The Gallery Place-Chinatown Intercept Survey is being conducted by the Downtown DC Business Improvement District. Take it and you could win a $100 gift card to a downtown DC business.
