We’ve learned that the Tadich Grill, a San Francisco restaurant that started as a coffee stand during California’s Gold Rush in the mid 1800s, will open in the old TenPenh space at 1001 Pennsylvania Ave NW in early 2014. A definite seafood inclination tilts the Tadich Grill’s menu and it will be interesting to see if they adjust the menu to cater to Washingtonians.
We lamented the loss of TenPenh in June of 2011 after a good run but are glad to see plans for that corner of Pennsylvania Ave once more.
