Shimba Hills Coffee To Open In Gallery Place

Motet In Gallery Place

Some may have noticed a different variety of street performance over the weekend in Gallery Place: Motet. There were several people outside the Gallery Place theater protesting the Da Vinci Code movie opening. Pic 1 and Pic 2. Thanks to Andy for this info: A Seattle’s Best Coffee is going up next to Ruth Chris’ Steak House (around 9th and G Pl, roughly across from Zaytinya). They look like they are pretty advanced in building out the space.

More G-Men/Women Expected In Gallery Place

GPLiving ran across this fun WaPo factoid: The FBI recently inked a deal for almost 54,000 square feet at 616 H St. NW. This deal consititues about 25% of the building’s space. 616 H St already houses the District of Columbia Courts & other U.S. Government offices.
