Plans And Timeline For Old YWCA Building (9th & G St NW)

CityCenterDC Construction Update

CityCenterDC, the huge project at the northwest corner of 9th & H St NW, seems to be coming along nicely.  Workers continue building the various floors of the underground parking garage that will hold 1,555 cars!

Gallery Square Retailers Announced (7th & H St NW)

The WaPo’s Capital Business blog has the scoop on which retailers will be going into the Gallery Square development on Northeast corner of 7th & H St NW.  They are: Walgreens, YO! Alliance Française Hosts French Language Testing In PQ

As we alluded to in our last DC link roundup, Alliance Française has begun to use its annex on the lower-level floor of 421 7th St NW, otherwise known as the American Institute of Architects (AIA) space. The sign reads: Placement Test Tonight, November 17 from 5:00-8:00pm.

Le Pain Quotidien And Meatballs Open!

Meatballs at night Yesterday, both Le Pain Quotidien And Meatballs restaurants opened!  We happened to witness the lunch time crowd overwhelming Meatballs, which already has a few Yelp reviews. Le Pain Quotidien is located at 10th & F St NW and Meatballs is at 624A E St NW.  Penn Quarter continues to establish itself as a gastronomic focal point of DC.
