2007 Farmer’s Market Ends Today
The FreshFarm Market ends their season today at the PQ location. The market opened this year on April 5th, and has run every Thursday from 3 to 7 pm. You can still see your favorite vendors (and more) at the Sunday Dupont market which is year round, but many of us will miss the local market until it (hopefully!) reopens next year.

Anon #1, I don’t have any inside knowledge, just included the “hopefully” because I want to see the market return year after year. I hope that’s their plan.
It is disappointment to see the market be a seasonal fixture in the neighborhood, since many of these same vendors stay year round at Dupont Circle.
We all still have to eat and without a grocery store nearby, it makes them a more viable source.
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
Columbo,
I see that you have written hopefully. Is there some talk of the farmers market not returning next year?
