Downtown – The Trump Hotel Collection puts in a bid for the Old Post Office Building redevelopment on Pennsylvania Ave NW. [WaPo]
Union Station – Curbside buses continue gaining in popularity and will be centralized at Union Station. We’ve ridden them and generally prefer pocketing the savings over the train. One benefit of taking the train…the quiet car…shuuuuush. [WaPo] & [TBD]
Downtown – The Corcoran Gallery celebrates the Washington Color School. [Corcoran Museum]
Penn Quarter – Le Pain Quotidien is under construction at the corner of 10th and F St NW. [The Internationalist]
Downtown – The tobacconist W. Curtis Draper (aka Drapers) will be moving from 640 14th St NW to 699 15th St NW (corner of 15th and G St NW). Opening date is August 30. Not many places to enjoy a good stogie in this town, but this is one of them. [PQL Intelligence Network] Hat tip: Columbo
