DNA & MVSNA Sponsor Homeless Focused Meeting Tomorrow
Tomorrow night at 7 pm at the Calvary Baptist Church (755 8th Street, NW – entrance between G and H Streets), the Downtown Neighborhood Association (DNA) and the Mount Vernon Square Neighborhood Association (MVSNA) are hosting a special joint neighborhood meeting focused on the homeless issues that downtowners (visitors, workers and residents) contend with on a daily basis. Changes are afoot in the DC Government as its Housing First initiative attempts to tackle these issues directly and this joint meeting will allow attendees to hear from both the DC Government as well as heads of various organizations who provide services to DC’s homeless. Attendance is open to all and the meeting will be in Kendall Hall inside the church. Click on More… for more information about this specially focused meeting.
