January DNA Meeting Tomorrow Night

The Downtown Neighborhood Association (DNA) will be resuming its monthly meetings tomorrow night at 7 pm in the usual spot, the Naval Heritage Center at 701 Pennsylvania Avenue, off Market Square.

DC City Council Member-At-Large Kwame Brown and First District Commander David Kamperin from the DC Metropolitan Police Department will be at the meeting. We’ll point out that Kwame Brown (along with Jack Evans and Mayor Fenty) was at the recent press conference announcing financing for the Old Convention Center redevelopment so it will be a good opportunity to ask questions about the project as well as any other city living issues.

I would hope, with all of the whining on this board, that this meeting is moderately well attended.
