Sake Tasting
Thursday, April 3, 7-9pm
Historical Society of Washington (801 K St. NW)
Master brewers from Japan offer tastings of sake, shochu and beer.
Vodka and Gin Tasting
Saturday, April 5, 1-3 pm
DC Coast (1401 K St. NW)
Scott Clime, wine and beverage director, will present tastes of more than 13 brands and teach the process for infusing fruits into the celebrated liquors. Includes lunch as well.
Japanese Tea Ceremony
Sunday, April 6, 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m.
Arthur M. Sackler Gallery – Smithsonian Institution (1050 Independence Ave. SW)
A Japanese tea presentation by members of the Omotesenke school.
