Ooooops! Sorry, it may have just opened today. MVT CID Bill McLeod just send me an email stating it was 3PM today. I may have just misinterpreted the info I read in the MVSNA newsletter that was distributed on 7/12.
yeah that was my fault. sorry i jumped the gun on that. Um, anyone know is their pizza good? Cause i just hate dominos.
Papa John’s is similar to Domino’s, maybe one or two notches higher in quality. The garlic sauce is more like garlic flavored oil, but sure tastes good.
They weren’t answering their phones last night and they’re not set up for online ordering. Anyone have luck actually ordering from them yet?
They picked up the phone last night, but only to say that they were having technical difficulties and would be open in the morning. DCist had a post that they were giving away free pizza– they were probably overwhelmed.
Friday night all their computers shut down after the took some orders. They were supposed to be up and running again Saturday and it looked liked they were at least from my walking past the store. Yes, MUCH better than dominos.
What about Papa John’s vs. Armand’s? Armand’s delivery has been my source of pizza since I’ve moved to the area. But the proximity of Papa John’s might make me switch. I guess I’ll find out which one is better soon enough.

According to its webpage, Vapiano will be opening its store in Chinatown in September 2008:

Armands has very thick doughy crust. Some really like it but i can only take it once in a while. they do have decent salad though.
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
I live across the street and it has not been open for a week. The Papa Johns sign went up about a week ago but the actual “open” sign has never been turned on (and, yes, I was looking to see if it had opened).
