Numark Gallery Closes In Penn Quarter

Grammar.police (via DCist) had a nice post informing us that Penn Quarter’s very own Numark Gallery (625-627 E St NW) is closing. We’re not sure what will become of the gallery space but we’re sad to see one of DC’s largest and best galleries moving on!

That location would make for a nice brunch type restaurant, with those great big garage type doors allowing for a nice outdoor seating area. Sad to see them go, but let’s hope for the best.

The owner is going into art consulting instead – no need for a large gallery space, and much less overhead.
