It’s not the most romantic, but my girlfriend & I decided a long time ago that rather than make V-day stressful & difficult, we’d do/get the same thing every year. We buy each other a box of Godiva (b/c they run a contest each year), and then have dinner at home (mostly consisting of said chocolates).
Unfortunately my husband and I are stuck in Norfolk, Va on business.
We will have to celebrate at a good restaurant when we return this weekend.
Missing good restaurants.
Valentine Day? Is it Valentine’s day? Guess I didn’t realize it because no one has sent me roses. Oh right, I know the reason I am not dating anybody right now. All I can say is thanks for the reminder. My plan is to work late and hope for the best next year.

Im going to curl up with a bowl of coco puffs and xanax, and watch Love Actually on a loop on my dvd player until I fall asleep in a pool of my own chemically enhanced tears. No seriously, that was last year. tonight im finally going to acadiana tonight for the first time weather permitting. can’t wait. I only do the coco puffs and xanax thing on Christmas now.
