The excitement over retail prospects on F St NW between 9th & 10th can cause some to overlook the nice detail and restoration performed on the facades of the buildings. Copper is back!

I just love what Akridge has done for that block. The Carroll Square office building may not be the prettiest or most innovative thing, but they did a bang up job on those rowhouses. Can’t wait to see what goes in!

All that pretty copper kinda makes you wonder where the stores’ signage will go.

I work right by this building and it is AMAZING! I got kind of worried when they were building because alot of the facades were in bad shape (and when that little piece of the building was dropped and it sounded like a bomb went off!).
