RSS FeedUsed Book/CD Sale At IBEW (900 7th St NW) On April 13th
Tra wrote in to let us know that a used book/cd sale will be hosted on the 1st floor of the IBEW building (900 7th St NW). Tra also notes that all proceeds will benefit the D.C. Public Schools and most of the used books and cd’s will be priced between $1 and $4 – now that’s a bargain!

The sixth annual Carpe Librum used book sale will open its doors on Friday, April 13th at 8am at 900 7th Street, NW!! Thank you to IBEW and Akridge for donating this fabulous sale site to us for the second year in a row!!
The sale will remain open 7 days a week through Friday, May 18th.

I work at Techworld and they definitely take donations. Several coworkers have taken boxes over to them.
The book sale is closed. There’s a flyer on the door saying that it’s temporarily closed with a pointer to the website http://www.turningthepage.org for details.
The website says that the sale has closed sue to unforseen circumstances and that they expect to have more sales in the future.

i went to this last year, it was fantastic! At some point they start selling books at $10/ whatever you can stuff into a plastic grocery bag.
anyone know, do they take donations?
