They say a picture is worth a thousand words and these poor newspaper boxes, trash can and tree on the 400 block of 7th Street NW all fell victim to Snowmageddon 2010. It’s too bad they can’t get up on their own but we suppose that once the snow melts, a few good souls will help them to their feet.

Good news — the Express box in that picture has already been saved. A guy from the Post got it upright this morning and was cleaning it off with paper towels and some Windex when I walked by at about 8am. The Examiner box is still laying down on the job, though.
