RSS FeedANC 6C Commissioner Docter Honored By BID
The Downtown Business Improvement District (BID) held its Momentum Awards last Thursday announcing the best downtown has to offer. Most of the awards went to businesses or organizations but one award went to a person. Congratulations go out to Charles (Charley) Docter who serves as the Commish for ANC 6C09 and as a downtown resident has contributed more than his share to making our community a great place to live.
Way to go Charley and thanks for all that you do!

Congrats Charlie for giving an award to yourself!! Thank goodness there’s no conflict of interest between serving on the BID and supervising it as an ANC Commissioner. When will people in Penn Quarter wake up?
Charley Docter’s contributions to the Mt. Vernon Triangle area have been invaluable. I have watched him work tirelessly on behalf of me and my neighbors to represent our interests and help us make progress. It could not have been done without him. And he doesn’t get thanks enough. I hope he represents us for many more years.
