Anti-Excessive Noise Legislation Coming Before DC Council On Thu, Oct 4
The DC Council’s Committee of the Whole will be holding an open meeting on the anti-excessive noise bill before them. This is an important hearing for the Penn Quarter neighborhood and we encourage all to pitch in their views on this subject. Even if it’s too late to sign up to testify readers can reach out to the Councilmembers to express their views. The flyer shown above can also be printed and given to your neighbors.
Public space is a shared resource and excessive noise removes the ability for residents, businesses, and visitors to conduct their lives in peace and this is an opportunity to make your views heard on this matter.
We recommend that readers visit the TurnItDownDC website and the DC Council meeting webpage for more information.
