The Capital One Cafe (732 7th St NW) taking over the former Fuddruckers and Radio Shack/Sprint store showed its colors and signage this weekend at the corner of 7th and H St NW. Workers could be seen busily going in and out as well as adjusting the signage. The “cafe strategy” is designed to bring millenials and younger people into the traditional local banking fold. Our last report indicated that this location should open in late 2018 and we’d say that this date remains accurate.
