RSS FeedClyde’s Alley Bar Opens Today *Updated*

The recently closed-to-be-renovated Clyde’s On The Walk (approx. 701 7th St NW) will become Alley Bar (a sports bar) and it opens today at 6pm, just in time for tonight’s Caps game at the Verizon Center located just steps away. It is sure to be a scene, so we’ll be sure to update this post with pics tonight!

in the Alley Bar, Clyde’s put up a painting (not a photo) of a Caps-Flyers game featuring Rod Langway, #5, who played defense for the Caps for forever. he was the last of the Caps who was grandfathered in to play without a helmut and play without a helmut he did. the painting is a nice touch and a fitting way to set up that space for use. customers can slide right out of the Alley Bar and into a Caps game across the way.
