All Over DC – Hope you busted out your clock on a chain…Public Enemy’s Flava Flav and Chuck D were in town to raise awareness about homelessness and perform in a benefit concert at GWU. The best part? Rapping off a flat bed truck as it rolled through Foggy Bottom (at 2:06 in the video below). [WaPo]
Shaw – The Passenger, a new bar in the former Warehouse space on 7th Street, NW, aside the Convention Center, opens. [The (Mount Vernon) Triangle] & [WeLoveDC] & [Brightest Young Things]
Penn Quarter – Will our area get a boutique burger joint? Flip Burger might be it. [The (Mount Vernon) Triangle]
7th Street NW – We saw a squadron of nicely dressed bicyclists go by while coming back from the CVS. Will this bicycle-riding-in-your-finest-tweed event rival the yearly drag-queen-race-in-their-high-heels Drag Race? [WeLoveDC] & [Washingtonian]
All Over The Metro – An interesting diagram showing rider flow on the subway. [Greater Greater Washington]
