Here’s what we were reading last week about neighborhood news in DC. Have neighborhood thoughts? Leave them in the comments!
Georgetown – The National Pinball Machine Museum opens in Georgetown Park. Bust out your shaking moves to improve your score but don’t tilt the machine. When was the last you time you saw an operational pinball machine in a DC bar? [TBD]
Mount Vernon Triangle – Santa draws some attention at the corner of 5th and K Streets NW. [The Triangle]
Downtown – Another Italian restaurant in the works…the chef from Teatro Goldoni will open Elisir in the old La Prima space (427 11th St NW) come springtime. So many restaurants…so little time. [Downtown BID Newsletter]
Mount Vernon Triangle/NoMa – One restaurant owner’s view of the impending arrival of Wal-Mart in DC. [Busboys and Poets blog]
Judiciary Square – Judiciary Square’s Metro stop reviewed. Might sound dull except that you’ll get a kick out of the Metro-Venture blog who’s aim it is to visit every Metro stop and ride every bus line. Any public transit commuter will enjoy this website. [Metro-Venture]

Thanks for the shoutout! I can’t believe it took me that long to visit Judiciary Square, but it was well worth the wait.
Rock and Roll Hotel on H Street has a couple of pinball machines upstairs in one of the side rooms (along with Big Buck Hunter).
