The first Penn Quarter CommUnity Concert [PDF flyer] takes place tomorrow, Saturday, September 29 at 7:30 pm at the CommUnity on the Hill Church (945 G Street, NW (corner of 10th & G)). This is Penn Quarter’s newest LEED Gold building.
A delightful program of arias, art songs, and the best of Gershwin’s Porgy & Bess will be performed by artists Ruby Weston (soprano), Rodney Wing (baritone), and Marcus Smith (pianist). This is a pay what you wish performance and a reception follows the performance.
