Something Different for Halloween
Last night, I attended the Drag Races in Dupont Circle to officially kick off the 2011 Halloween festivities. I’ve been looking around for something unique to do this year for Halloween? Oyamel (401 7th Street NW) invites us to join them for special drinks and eats to celebrate Day of the Dead through November 2 (including a special music performance by Rudy Gonzalez Y Su Locura).
While at the hardware store yesterday, I picked up a postcard for Bicycle Space (459 Eye Street NW). On October 27, they’ll be organizing the Cupcake Caper, a murder mystery bike ride through the city. Costumes and bike decorations encouraged. I don’t have a bike, but if I did, this sounds really cool.
Do you have any other ideas for things to do?
Have a spooktacular time!

How was the Cupcake Caper? It sounded awesome.
And by ‘awesome’ I mean ‘like an assortment of annoying things bundled together to create a single super-annoying thing”.
