He Looked Larger On The Big Screen
If this was supposed to be the revenge of Maximillian, it didn’t work out too well. We’re not sure what it is or why it’s there, but this thing is flattened on Constitution Ave NW at 9th ST (near the DOJ), and it’s been there for quite a while.
In fact there is at least one other, on Pennsylvania Ave & 17th ST (near the Old Executive Office Building). Anyone know what these things are?

Not sure what they are either, but mark another on the list for 3rd and Pennsylvania NW and I believe I saw one at 3rd and Constitution too.
Wonkette had a bit on them a few weeks ago. It is some street artist. There are some of these pieces in Philly, New York and Chicago, too.
I have seen at least 10 of these when biking around the mall area – it has been driving me crazy trying to figure out what they are! If it is some kinda of marketing campaign or other statement – it doesn’t really work if no one knows what it is!
Ah, good old Borf. When living up in Kalorama, although I don’t support graffiti, I did love the USPS Mail Box tagged as “Borf Writes Letters To Your Children.”

Not sure what they are, but here’s another one I saw on the back of a sign outside the Hirshhorn.
