Green Turtle To Open In April / One Metro Flat-Screen Goes Missing

Posted by gpliving

Just a couple bumps for two of our commenters:

  • CityLiving writes: I talked to the architectural firm the Greene Turtle is using and they said it should be open in April.
  • Anon writes: I saw the flat screen in the tunnel at 7th and H the day they went up, and by afternoon it was gone and haven’t seen it since.

We believe the flat-screen in the 7th & H St entrance was just a quick proof of concept because this WTOP article states: To supplement the kiosks, separate 46-inch flat screen signs will be installed in the next few weeks at Gallery Place-Chinatown, Silver Spring and Rosslyn.

Heard on WTOP News this morning that the Green Turtle will open April 15th and have over 40 flat screen TVs.
