Hong Kong Film Festival Begins Tonight At Freer|Sackler
One of our favorite DC film festivals begins this evening. The 17th Annual Made in Hong Kong Film Festival begins tonight and runs Fridays and Saturdays through August 19 at the Smithsonian’s Freer|Sackler Gallery (1200 Jefferson Dr SW). The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Organization and the Smithsonian’s Freer and Sackler galleries will screen seven films about the city’s many faces – both traditional and modern – for the run in June, July, and August. Admisson is free but seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Auditorium doors will open approximately 30 minutes before each show.
