Inauguration 2009 Photos: Best Of The Rest & Recap
Hosting 1.8 million people on the National Mall for Barack Obama’s 2009 inauguration and parade was no cake walk but the neighborhood made it through the event in one piece. We couldn’t put up every inaugural event photo sent in right away so we compiled a “best of the rest” and have it for you at the bottom in approximately chronological order. Covering the inauguration was a great way to show off our slice of Washington DC to the rest of the country who came to enjoy the festivities.
