Inaugural Preparations Briefing For Downtown DC And Penn Quarter On Tuesday, January 10
We heard from the Penn Quarter Neighborhood Association about getting the downtown and Penn Quarter neighborhoods ready for the 2017 Presidential Inauguration. The PQNA arranged for a briefing from the US Secret Service in early January as mentioned below in the PQNA e-mail:

The Navy Memorial TheaterThe Navy Memorial entrance is on the west side of the Market Square East building (701 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW), adjacent to the swath of grass between the two Market Square buildings; once inside, go to the lower level.

- Louis Enriquez,. U. S. Secret Service Agent – Confirmed
- DC Dept of Homeland Security & Emergency Management Agency – Invited
- Metropolitan Police Department’s Special Operations Division – Invited
The speakers will outline plans and restrictions for the Inaugural, especially the limitations that will be imposed for the Inaugural Parade. Following their presentations, they will respond to questions to the best of their ability.
Breakfast will not be available at this meeting, which is being held in lieu of the January breakfast meeting; PQNA breakfast meetings will resume in February.
