Penn Quarter Living will be covering the weekend’s inaugural events but we also want to promote the spirit of “Yes, we can!” As the bus ad proclaims, that means that “Yes, you can” too. Neighbors and readers can send in photos and anecdotes of the weekend’s events to pqliving [at] gmail [dot] com and we’ll do our best to cement them together in a sensible way and post them for all to enjoy. yes, we do realize it’s a Pepsi ad. they have these ads up in the Metrobus stalls too. we liked the play on words.
it’s a clever campaign and the website referenced in the bottom right of the bus ad encourages viewers to send in videos which then get cycled up onto the site for viewing. we’ll see if there are follow on ads that play off this theme.
