It’s Quirky, It’s Fun, It’s The Parade Of Trabants At The Spy Museum
The only Trabant rally in the U.S. will take place tomorrow, Saturday November 8, from 10 am to 4 pm in front of the International Spy Museum (800 F St NW).
What is a Trabant you ask? It’s a car made in the former East Germany (German Democratic Republic or GDR) and is often associated as a symbol of communism. Over 3 million of these mostly two stroke engine cars were made between 1957 and 1991 and tomorrow is a rare opportunity to check out this “Volkswagen” of the Eastern Bloc.
