It’s Rabbit Season, No It’s Duck Season…
Or is it Tourist Season? 8 am this morning on E St, several busloads of people lined up (for Ford’s Theatre? Hard Rock? The house where Lincoln died?) between 9th & 10th Streets.
No complaining here, keep those tax dollars coming in. But on a blustery, cold day (Weather.com says the feels like is 26 degrees!), a line of people all the way down E St seems like a rare sight.

Pretty amazing! I’ve also observed strings of tourists unloading from charter busses directly into one of the many restaurants at “restaurant row” on 7th (between G & H).
It’s funny to watch 50 people walk in a nice organized line into a restaurant. I almost expect the building to become bloated like in a cartoon as each person enters the store.
It’s definitely nice to see that more of those tourist dollars are staying in DC rather than leaving for Arlington!
