New Neighborhood Productivity Business cove Is Open (829 7th St NW)
The newest business to open on 7th Street is cove (829 7th St NW) which bills itself as a neighborhood productivity space. Membership includes high speed Wi-Fi, no cost printing and scanning, unlimited coffee, plentiful power outlets, community events, and most importantly comfortable space to work. Think of it as a coffee shop-like, members only space with printing, conference space, and community added in as a part of the package. The Chinatown location is one of 9 DC area cove locations and members can use any location as a part of their membership fee which ranges from $59 per month to $249 per month depending on the desired privileges.
The 7th Street location covers two floors making up just over 1,400 square feet with 32 group and individual desks, a lounge section, two call boxes, one six-seat conference room, and an additional 900 square feet of event space. This address has a history of hosting startups in DC including the first one we walked by in Penn Quarter/Chinatown back in 2008 called The Map Network.
The 7th Street cove will be hosting an open house on Tuesday Wednesday, November 18 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. No advance RSVP is needed and neighbors are invited to stop by to visit the space.
