RSS FeedNordstrom Rack Taking Over Old Barnes & Noble (555 12th St NW – 12th & E)
Well, that didn’t take long. The Washington Business Journal reports that Nordstrom Rack will open in the former Barnes & Noble space at the corner of 12th and E St NW (the address is technically 555 12th St NW). This new store will clock in at 37,000 square feet…impressive! That brings the total number of discount clothing big boxish stores in downtown’s East End to three, the other two being Marshall’s and TJ Maxx. Happy shopping!

It’s not a grocery store, but the addition makes sense. Lots of clothing in the area, and as you said lots of discount clothing. Sounds fine to me!
