RSS FeedOyamel in February?
A few updated signs are up at the Oyamel construction site indicating a February open. Other signs say ‘Early 2007.’ When will they actually open? Who knows but what we do know is that construction activity continues daily.

They are planning mid-Feb. From the latest press release:
José Andrés’ and Rob Wilder’s THINKfoodGROUP will open Oyamel in mid-February 2007 at its new Penn Quarter location, 401 7th Street, NW. The Mexican haven will hold a three-night fundraising campaign on February 12, 13 and 14 to support three nonprofit organizations as the official launch of the restaurant.

I checked the website http://www.oyamel.com and it says it will open late January 2007.
