We Were Blissfully Unaware
But Mrs Columbo wasn’t. She snapped this photo of the Bliss Spa awning in the new W Hotel (old Hotel Washington) building at the corner of 15th & F streets NW. A quick internet search tells us that we’re not the first people to hear about this, but we’re certainly happy to pass along the news.
The W Hotel is scheduled to open July 8th; with an awning up we’d expect the Bliss Spa to be opening soon as well. Sign Mrs Columbo up for a blissage!
New Poll…How Do You Use Parks?
With the glorious weather arriving, we turn our thoughts to spending time outdoors. There are a number of parks in downtown DC and we’ve always been curious about how workers, residents and visitors make use of those parks so check out the new poll on the right and place your vote.
Photo of the Week: Summer’s Coming!
With Memorial Day weekend marking the unofficial beginning of summer, we thought this fantastic ‘spectreman’ photo tagged with pqliving on flickr really captured how we’re feeling about the long weekend. Don’t forget to kick your shoes off and put your feet in the water for a bit too – it will be in the 80s this weekend!
Tag your photos with pqliving on flickr, the photo sharing site, and they become eligible to be the Photo of the Week here on PQ Living.
