Bantam King, a ramen and fried chicken eatery, opens tonight for dinner service at 5 pm at 501 G St NW. In an ode to a former tenant, Burger King which closed circa late 2014, the restaurant is keeping the “king” in the name. It keeps the fast food vibe but adds improved interior decor and the added bonus of serving beer. Bantam King is brought to you by the owners of the nearby Daikaya on 6th St NW,

History on Foot: Arts & Industries Building
We were thrilled to attend a party held at the Smithsonian Arts & Industries Building (900 Jefferson Drive SW) last night. This museum has been closed as long as we’ve lived here. The renovation progress is impressive, but there’s still a long road ahead. Any companies looking for a unique event venue while also contributing to the completion of the renovation project, be sure to plan your visit!
