Holiday Market Opens Monday noon-7pm!
The Downtown Holiday Market begins today! There will be live music throughout the day – for the duration of the market! All of the info, including the Complete Exhibitor Listing, is posted here. (BTW – the mayor will be stopping by at 4pm today!)
Here is a quick map – it looks like everything will be on the sidewalk in front of the Smithsonian American Art Museum (G St NW between 7th and 8th St):
Thai Restaurant Moving Into The Artisan Building (updated)
Lafayette resident just wrote in to let us know that they saw a liquor license application posted for a Thai restaurant with “occasional” DJ or live music next to the Artisan condo’s entrance. The location is on the 900 block of E St .
This place, called Asia Nine Bar & Lounge, is going to be huge! It looks like it will occupy the remaining two storefronts directly to the right of the resident’s entrance. Here’s a pic of the familiar orange license application:
