Today will be the last day the Penn Quarter farmer’s market will meet – until next year.
Downtown DC Holiday Market Info
We are starting up the “hype-machine” for this year’s Holiday Market that will be located on F St NW between 7th and 8th St (right in front of the Smithsonian American Art & Portrait Gallery). It’ll run from Dec 11 – Dec 22, 12:00 Noon-7:00 pm daily.
In contrast to last year’s isolated location at the horribly windy and uninspiring parking lot of the old convention center, this year’s market will be centrally located in our neighborhood where there is a lot of pedestrian traffic. This blogger knows of some local artists who are already signed up to sell their wares, and we’re banking on at least one of the food vendors returning (as they were a big hit last year).
