Boe Restaurant Opening Today (777 9th St NW)
Boe opens for happy hour and dinner service this afternoon at 777 9th St NW. Formerly Oya offering an Asian themed menu, Boe offers refined American comfort fare and a faux log cabin interior similar to what we’ve seen in other DC spots like Kabin (Dupont) and Buck’s Fishing and Camping (Forest Hills).
The menu (photo at right) can also be found here and it outlines entrees between $15 and $24 which is in the middle of the range for Penn Quarter dining. Like Oya, Boe will retain its late night weekend hours for dinner and bar service. Lunch service is slated to start on January 25 and brunch service on February 7. The full photo spread of Boe’s interior can be seen here.
