Retail Roundup: Guess, Forever 21, Vapiano’s
Guess & Forever 21 – There’s more retail coming downtown and we like it. It seems that clothing is a recurring theme along F Street with the announcement that clothing retailers Guess (known for their jeans) and Forever 21 signed 10 year leases for stores at 1155 F Street NW and 1025 F Street NW (the old Woodies building) respectively.
Vapiano’s – Other sites covered this already but it bears mentioning that Vapiano’s will open to the public on February 25 at 623-625 H Street NW.

Like Mather Resident, I think many more of Mrs Columbo’s dollars will be spent in PQ once Forever 21 opens.
Both are great gets, and I’m happy downtown continues to attract retail even in the current economic environment. Sad but not surprising about Balducci’s; I hope Jemal hasn’t given up on any grocery in that space.
Can’t WAIT for Vapiano.
what about wagamama? I understand that they’re halting expansion in the US, though I have heard that the one here will still open. Anyone know the date?

Although admittedly well over 21, I am PSYCHED about the Forever 21 store coming to the neighborhood!
