RSS FeedRide Every Bus & Alight At Every Station
We’ve been meeting lots of other Washington DC neighborhoodies (see our DC Neighborhoods linklist in the right column) at various events around town recently and we’re always looking out for fun sites that might be relevant to downtown living that we can pass along to readers. We ride the 30s, X2, 80, L1/2/4 buses and all subway lines regularly and most we know who live downtown use some form of public transit too. We wrote about riding the 30s bus line a little over two years ago but a site we learned about recently and want to pass along called Metro-Venture is dedicating one year to riding every bus line and visiting every Metro station in WMATA’s system. You might say it’s going the extra mile (cue the rim shot).

And yes – the 30 buses are amazing! A lot of the fun part of writing Metro-Venture is “discovering” new routes, even if they’re just new to me…
