While out one day on the National Mall, we came across these ducks as they hunted for food in one of the reflecting pools. At least we hope they’re hunting for food.
The ducks are great fun to watch, but this blogger does not feel the same way about the flocks (battalions?) of geese that inhabit the Mall area. Mrs Columbo & I give them wide berth when jogging, those suckers are mean.
