This blogger could not let Artomatic come and go without having mentioned it! Besides, many neighborhood artists have booths at the event that is a quick metro ride to Crystal City.
- Artomatic is a month-long multimedia arts event that draws together visual artists, musicians and performers and brings their work to the community without charge.
Over 600 artists & performers are featured at this event. Also, there are 3 bars and a cafe.

Hours: Th: Noon–11 p.m.; Fr/Sa: Noon–1 a.m.; Sun: Noon-10 p.m.

I checked this out yesterday.. be sure to give yourself a lot of time to see everything!
The 6th floor still has all of the walls for offices and each room is dedicated to a couple of artists. It is fun to roam the hallways and then find yourself in one of the bars with live music. The 8th floor is wide open and has some bigger installations.
