The MLK Library has a new self checkout machine. This blogger used it today and it was fast and easy. An added bonus (for those of you who have used self checkout at grocery stores or home depot) is it doesn’t yell at you to “PUT ITEM IN BAG.”
Quick steps: Scan your borrow card, scan the book barcodes, slide your book in V shaped area below the monitor to deactivate the security, and then collect your receipt.
