2) Proof (775 G St NW) – Opening at 5:30 pm today and tomorrow. [E-mail newsletter]

I was suprised to see that both Asia 9 & Bistro d’OC were closed as of about 6:15 pm today (Friday). The snow just starting to stick. I had been looking forward to eating & drinking at Bistro d’OC this evening.

I need to know whether Safeway or the 8th Street CVS is open on Saturday. Does anyone know?

My husband is in PQ right now (I’m in SC for the weekend and probably longer).

He said Brueggers is open (on E, between 8th and 9th) – the guy there spent the night in a hotel — and my husband is enjoying coffee and bagel as I type. I think he’ll be spending a lot of time there today!
